Joining The Trust

Our Growth Plan

The Real
Life Learning Academy Trust is set up on minority papers and is therefore able
to consider applications to join from Voluntary Controlled Church of England
Schools or none faith schools.

Our strategy is for growth with care, ensuring the
Trust has the capacity to meet the needs of each joining school without
compromising the core purpose of any other academy within the Trust. Board
members recognise each academy will have its own unique context and will
therefore consider each one on a case by case basis. The context of the
academy, including its effectiveness and size will shape future growth.

Any
school wishing to join the Trust will be subject to a due diligence exercise.
If at any point the due diligence exercise exposes any risk to the Trust, the
Trust will endeavour to work closely with the school to see if such a risk can
be eradicated prior to joining.

RLLAT is
ambitious for its future and is looking to grow by 2 academies each academic
year, unless there is a strategic reason to consider more. However, it must be
measured growth with a good balance between schools with improvement capacity
as well as those that may be vulnerable at the point of joining. Additionally
there will be no further than 1 hour's drive  from the founding Academy РActon CE Primary,
unless geographical clusters are to be set up.

The
growth plan will be reviewed on an annual basis. If you wish to join the Trust, please contact Bev Dolman exec.head@rllat.cheshire.sch.uk
